From Grant: _Hey Downey! I got an idea to loosely connect our backstories if you are down/interested. If not totally cool, but in my backstory as I've already stated I've spend a lot of time with Dwarves and befriended them. One in particular was older and I saw him as a father figure because my own dad was a bit of a dick and we butted heads. Long story short this dwarf saw me kinda like a son because his own son was killed and when I went away to become a paladin he gifted me my hammer and armor and supported me when my real dad was pissed I gave up the family business. Could throw in there that this Dwarf had two sons instead of one and they searched and searched and couldn't find them and they never came back so are assumed dead but the one was Drenly. Just would need Daddy dwarf's name from you. Just a thought bud let me know what you think if you like it or want to change some details or just scrap the idea in general.
